OCTOBRE 2016a aJe suis de retour! (avec un peu-beaucoup-de retard), désolée... Bien, ce mois d'octobre a vraiment été occupé, avec plein de nouvelles aventures, de nouvelles expérience! Mais laissez-moi vous les raconter! PREMIERE SEMAINE Tout les dimanches, à la patinoire de la ville, on peut aller faire du patins à glace. Ce que j'ai essayé! Je ne suis pas tombée -mais presque-; c'était super surtout que j'y suis allée avec mon frère d'accueil qui fait du hockey. J'ai également essayé de cuisiner des crêpes... et j'ai réussi! Cela m'avait manqué... A l'école, en sport cette semaine, nous avons fait Tennis, j'en avais jamais fait mais c'était bien! En Anglais, nous avons commencé Shakespeare, Macbeth. En Drama, on a apprend des techniques pour réciter des textes avec la bonne intonations et apprendre à respirer lors de longs monologues. Et en Communication Technologies, on a apprend toujours à utiliser CC Illustrator. En basketball, match contre Windsor, gagné 45 à 27 (Enfin, j'ai pas joué, juste regardé). Ensuite le vendredi je suis allé à Youth, où les jeunes se réunissent pour passer la soirée ensemble et on a fait des jeux dehors, c'était cool! DEUXIEME SEMAINE THANKSGIVING CANADIEN! Thanksgiving, c'est le jour où on remercie l'année passé; ce qu'on a fait... Au Canada c'est le 2eme Lundi d'octobre, avec le repas la veille alors qu'aux US c'est le quatrième Jeudi de Novembre. Ca vient d'Angleterre, qui après avoir traverser l'Athlantique saint et saufs, on décidé de célébrer leur arrivée en Amérique. La tradition est de manger de la Dinde. Je suis allée visiter Pelee Island avec un couple de Rotariens, en avion! Un petit avion de 4 places mais c'était excellent! J'étais devant avec la pilote, avec le casque pour parler comme dans les avions de lignes et c'était tout simplement une super expérience! On est allés faire une balade en vélo sur l'Ile, j'étais à l'endroit le plus au Sud du Canada habitable! Je suis allée faire du quad à huit roues, c'était marrant et ça allait vite, surtout dans les petits sentiers. J'ai appris un peu plus sur les abeilles et comment marche une ruche. Pour rentrer à Leamington, j'ai pris le bateau et c'était une super balade! (Merci beaucoup!). Avec Youth, on a fait Paintball, balle de tennis pleine de peinture et on se les jettes sur les uns les autres, c'était marrant! Le samedi, je suis allée aider le Rotary a nettoyer le bord d'une route, c'était cool! Le dimanche, je suis allée faire des photos avec une amie de ma première famille d'accueil qui est photographe, c'était super et j'ai appris beaucoup de choses! TROISIEME SEMAINE Semaine tranquille à l'école. Le mardi, je suis allée à une présentation du Rotary sur la Polio c'était super intéressant! J'ai joué Dodgeball (un remix de balle au prisonnier) entre onze heure et midi, c'était marrant! A Youth, on a fait également Dodgeball! Samedi, je suis allée à Cedar Point, Sandusky, Ohio, USA! C'était avec les autres étudiants en échanges et on s'est super bien amusé! Comme c'était bientôt Halloween, il y avait des maisons hantées dans le parc... L'école des Zombies, avec des personnes vivantes à l'interieur déguisés en zombie... c'était assez effrayant! QUATRIEME SEMAINE Semaine tranquille à l'école, en sport on a commencé Badminton. Lundi, j'ai fait ma présentation sur la France à la réunion Rotary! Mardi, premier match de basketball, avec le numéro 22. C'était marrant, j'ai pas marqué de panier (parce que je suis très nulle), mais j'ai aimé faire l'expérience! Le soir, je suis allée faire du Bowling avec ma conseillère Rotary ici, c'était super et ensuite je suis allée voir mon frère d'accueil jouer du Hockey. Le vendredi, je suis allée à un Labyrinthe de mais, c'était trop cool, surtout que c'était dans le noir!) J'ai égalament fait ma citrouille d'Halloween! Et puis Halloween est là, déguisée en cliché Française avec beret, pull rayés, drapeau français et baguettes! C'était marrant! Et voilà que se termine le mois d'octobre! So, this month was really busy, with lots of new adventures, new experiences! But, let me tell you! FIRST WEEK Every Sundays, at the ice rink of the town, you can go to skate. I went to try! I didn't fall -almost-; it was really fun, mostly that I went with my host brother who plays hockey. I also tried to cook crêpes... and I have succeeded! I miss it! At school, in phys-ed this week, we did Tennis, I have never done but it was good! In English, we began Shakespeare, Macbeth. In Drama, we learned how to say texts correctly and learned how to breath during long soliloquy. In Communication Technologies, we learned how to use CC Illustrator again. In Basketball, match against Windsor, won 45 vs 27 (I didn't play, I just watched). Then, Friday I went to Youth, where teenagers gather to spend the night together and we played game outside! It was cool! SECOND WEEK CANADIAN THANKSGIVING! Thanksgiving, it's the day where we thankful for the past year, what we did... In Canada, it the second monday of October with the meal the Sunday whereas in the US, it's the fourth Thursday of November. It comes from England, who, after cross the Ocean without any problems, decided to celebrate their arrived in America. The tradition is to eat turkey. I went to Pelee Island with a Rotarian couple, with a plane! A small plane with four sits but it was excellent! I was in the front with the pilot, with the headphones to speak like in the airliner and it was a really good experience! On went to ride bikes on the Island, I was at the southest point of Canada inhabitable. I went to do quand with eight wheels, it was fun and it was really fast, mostly in the small paths. I learned more about bees and how works a hive. To come back to Leamington, I took a boat and it was a nice stroll! (Thank you so much). With Youth, we did Paintball, tennis ball with paint and we were throwing them on the other team, it was funny! Saturday, I went to help Rotary to clean the highway, it was cool! Sunday, I went to take picture with a friend of my first host family, it was super and I learned lots of things! THIRD WEEK Calm week at school. Tuesday, I went to a Rotary presentation about Polio and it was really interesting! I played Dodgeball (a remix of a french game called 'Balle au prisonnier') between eleven am and twelve pm, it was fun! At Youth, we aslo played Dodgeball. Saturday, I went to Cedar Point, Sandusky, Ohio, USA! It was with the other exchange students and we had lots of fun! It was almost Halloween, so there were haunted houses in the park... Zombie High School with alive people Inside dressed-up like Zombie... Ir was scary! FOURTH WEEK Calm week at school, in phys-ed, we began Badminton. Monday, I did my Rotary presentation about France. Tuesday, I played my first basketball match with number 22. It was fun, I didn't basket (because I am really bad), but I liked the experience! The night, I went to Bowling with YEC, it was super and after, I went to see my host brother played hockey. Friday, I went to a maze corn, it was really cool, because it was during night! I also did my Halloween pumpkin! And then Halloween is here, dressed-up like French cliché with a beret, striped sweather, french flag and a baguette! It was fun! And that's it! October is over!
